- PROCEDURE:
- Officer / Executive Engineering shall prepare 0.5% v/v sodium hypochlorite solution using the given below formula.
- Officer / Executive Engineering shall take the calculated quantity of sodium hypochlorite solution and transfer in the dosing tank. Add purified water to make the volume up to 50 liters and mix well.
- Officer / Executive Engineering shall affix the duly filled and signed status label on the dosing tank as per Annexure-II “Status Label”.
- Use the solution within 3 days.
- Officer / Executive Engineering shall calculate the dosing rate using the given below formula:
- Officer / Executive Engineering shall set the flow rate by rotating the knob of the dosing pump at the rate of 100 ml/minute.
- Record the observation in Annexure – I “Sodium Hypochlorite Solution Dosing Log”.
